Groundnut / Peanut Oil
Groundnut (peanut) oil is rich in monounsaturated fats and is notably more stable than many other oils, often requiring no artificial additives. It is extremely robust, producing fewer flavor defects even with extended use. Groundnut oil has a characteristic, slightly nutty taste while remaining odorless.

Applications

Groundnut oil is renowned for its high temperature stability, making it an excellent all-purpose oil for cooking and frying. Its superior ability to keep solids in suspension for longer periods makes it ideal for manufacturing pourable dressings. As a result, groundnut oil is often used as a substitute for olive oil in salads and is a preferred ingredient in the production of mayonnaise and margarine.
